Precautions for Using Welding Robots

(1) Stabilizing and improving weld quality to ensure consistency. Welding parameters such as current, voltage, welding speed, and dry elongation determine the welding results. When using robotic welding, the parameters remain constant for each weld, reducing the influence of human factors on weld quality and lowering the technical requirements for operators, thereby ensuring consistent weld quality. In manual welding, both welding speed and dry elongation vary, making it difficult to achieve consistent quality.
(2) Improve workers’ working conditions. Workers involved in robotic welding are only responsible for loading and unloading workpieces, keeping them away from the welding arc, fumes, and spatter. For spot welding, workers no longer need to carry heavy manual welding guns, sparing them from high-intensity manual labor.
(3) Increased labor productivity. Robots do not tire and can operate continuously 24 hours a day. Furthermore, with the application of high-speed, high-efficiency welding technology, the efficiency gains from robotic welding are even more pronounced.
(4) Clear production cycles and easy control of output. The production cycle of robots is fixed, making production planning very clear.
